A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL DECLARING
WHEELABRATOR WATER TECHNOLOGIES, INC. TO BE THE
LOWEST, RF3PONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR PROVIDING THE
FILTER TANK AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT FOR THE TRI-AREA
WATER TREATMENT FACILITY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN A CONTRACT AWARDING THE BID TO WHEELABRATOR
WATER TECHNOLOGIES, INC. OF STURBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS.
WHEREAS, The City has advertised and received bids for supply of the filter tank and other
appurtenances for the Tri-Area water treatment system; and
WHEREAS, Bids were received in a fair and timely fashion, in accordance with City and State
bidding laws; and
WHEREAS, This project is funded in the 1996 budget under Water Quality; and
WHEREAS, The City has found Wheelabrator Water Technologies, Inc. to be the lowest,
responsive, responsible bidder,

NOW THEREFORE
RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:
The bid submitted by Wheelabrator Water Technologies, Inc. of Massachusetts is hereby
accepted and declared to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Wheelabrator Water
Technologies, Inc.
Payment to Wheelabrator Water Technologies, Inc. will be as set forth in the
specifications of the contract.

day of January, 1996.
