A RESOLUTION authorizing the mayor to enter into a lease
agreement with G. Rodney Johnson for auxiliary office space.
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
with the addition of a City Treasurer and City Clerk, until other arrangements
can be made to relocate some of the offices now located in City Hall, there is
insufficient remaining office space in City Hall for the office of the City
Administrator; and
the City Council has appropriated funds in the 1996 budget for leased auxiliary
office space for the City Administrator, and
suitable office space has become available adjacent to the office of the City
Attomey which affords advantageous coordination and resource sharing among
these city offices; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND that
the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a lease agreement with G. Rodney Johnson for
auxiliary office space substantially in the form of the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend in regular session assembled this
day of January, 1996.
