RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND DECLARING A FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAILER TO BE
SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SURPLUS
AND SELL THE TRAILER
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the Fire Department purchased a water tank to use on its brush track that
came with a trailer and is not needed as part of the Fire Department's capital equipment; and
and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to declare the trailer as surplus property;
WHEREAS, the disposal of the trailer as surplus property is in the best interest and for
the .common benefit of the City; and
WHEREAS, the fair market value of the trailer is estimated to be approximately
$250.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the Fire Department trailer, I.D. grR28071TEX, License #J71565, Title
#651050452 is declared to be surplus property and shall be sold at fair market value. The funds
shall be allocated pursuant to the City's standard accounting procedures.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor
on this 16th day of January, 1996.
