A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING THE COMPOST
FACILITY MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend finds a need to develop a compost management and
facility plan that is responsive to the needs and interests of the City of Port
Townsend and Jefferson County residents; and
WHEREAS,
the City of Port Townsend desires to develop a budget for the compost facility
which provides adequate and realistic funding for the continued operation and
maintenance and allows for future capacity development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend wishes to develop long range planning for the compost
facility which utilizes the facility to its fullest potential.
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:
The Compost Facility Management and Financial Plan is hereby adopted as prepared and
submitted by the Public Works Department and CH2M HILL.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 15th
day of April, 1996.
