A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH PERTEET ENGINEERING TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SERVICES FOR THE SAN JUAN AVENUE PROJECT.

Perteet Engineering and the City of Port Townsend entered into a Professional
Services Agreement dated January 11, 1995 for the conceptual engineering
design of the San Juan Street Improvement Project, and
the City entered into a Supplemental Agreement to that contract dated October
24, 1995 to provide revisions to the engineering design, and
Perteet Engineering was selected as the most qualified consUltant through the
Professional Services Roster in accordance with RCW 39.80, and
the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct the Construction
Administration as described in the Supplemental Agreement No. 2;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor'to sign
a Supplemental Agreement to the Professional Services Contract with Perteet Engineering to
provide Construction Administration for the San Juan Avenue Improvement Project.
Be It Further Resolved, that the additional contract mount is not to exceed Thirty-nine
Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Dollars ($39,770)
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 3rd
day of June 1996.
