A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A JOINT FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR
WATER RESOURCES INVESTIGATIONS WITH THE UNITED STATES
GEOLOGICAL SURVEY (USGS).
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
the City requires streamflow information to comply with our water right on the
Little Quilcene River and mutually agreed upon instream flow for the Big Quilcene
River's; and
the streamflow information is necessary to protect our water right; and
this hydrological information will assist in the accurate prediction and management
of our water resources; and,
Council has approved the cost of the USGS stream gage in the 1996 budget; and
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Joint Funding Agreemem for Water Resources Investigations with the USGS.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 3rd
day of June 1996.
