A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH POLARIS ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING TO PROVIDE FOR
THE SURVEYING AND MAPPING OF COOK AVE AND HENDRICKS STREET PARK
PROJECT.

it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an independent entity to
provide surveying and mapping for Cook Ave. and Hendricks Street Park Project; and
the City entered into a Professional Services Contract with Polaris dated December 18,
1995 (Resolution 95-122); and
In addition to the contracted services the City finds it necessary to add additional related
tasks to this agreement; and
the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the Consultant
is qualified to perform the services required:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it
authorizes the Mayor to sign an amendment to the Professional Services Contract with Polaris Engineering
and Surveying in substantially the same form as attached, for the surveying and mapping of Cook Ave. and
Hendricks Street Park Project for an additional Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00).
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and by the Mayor this 16th day of September.
