A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CH2M-HILL FOR DESIGN
AND SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE
SPARLING WELL AND TREATMENT PLANT
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,
The City has reviewed its Professional Services roster and has evaluated the
performance of the engineering firms that are currently performing services for
the City; and
WHEREAS, CH2M-HILL continues to perform its services in a satisfactory manner and has
been responsive and effective in meeting City needs; and
WHEREAS,
The City has negotiated a contract with CH2M HILL and selected them to
provide assistance with the design and services during construction of the
Sparling Well and Treatment Plant Improvements; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign an amendment, in substantially the same form as attached,
to the Professional Services Agreement with CH2M HILL to provide assistance with the
design and services during construction of the Sparling Well and Treatment Plant
Improvements as set forth in Exhibits A and B.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this
21st day of October, 1996.
