A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL DECLARING TACOMA PUMP
& DRILLING CO., INC. TO BE THE LOWEST, RESPONSIVE,
RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR DRILLING AND CONSTRUCTION OF A
NEW PRODUCTION WELL IN THE TRI-AREA AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT AWARDING THE BID TO TACOMA
PUMP & DRILLING CO., INC. OF GRAHAM, WASHINGTON.

WHEREAS,
The City has advertised and received bids for constructing a new production well
in the Tri-Area to supplement the drinking water supply system; and
Bids were received in a fair and timely fashion, in accordance with City and State
bidding laws; and
This project is funded in the 1997 budget under Water System - Supply,
Transmission and Storage; and
The City has found Tacoma Pump & Drilling Co., Inc. to be the lowest,
responsive, responsible bidder,
BE IT

NOW THEREFORE
RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:
The bid submitted by Tacoma Pump & Drilling Co., Inc. of Graham, Washington is
hereby accepted and declared to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Tacoma Pump & Drilling
Co., Inc.
Payment to Tacoma Pump & Drilling Co., Inc. will be as set forth in the specifications of
the contract.
