A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROJECT AGREEMENT WITH THE
INTERAGENCY COMMITTEE FOR OUTDOOR RECREATION (1AC) TO ACCEPT
$99,100.00 IN GRANT FUNDING TO CONSTRUCT TRANSIENT MOORAGE AT THE
UNION WHARF.
WHEREAS, the floating dock was a bid alternate selected contingent on grant funding; and
WHEREAS, the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation has awarded the City a grant in
the amount of $99,100.00 for this project
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Project Agreement with the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation to award the City a
grant in the amount of $99,100.00 in matching funds to complete a floating dock at the Union
Wharf
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 21st
day of January, 1997.
