HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-011RESOLUTION 97- / I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL DECLARING LYDEL CONSTRUCTION, INC. TO BE THE LOWEST, RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TRI-AREA WELL UPGRADES, PHASE II AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT AWARDING THE BID TO LYDEL CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF POULSBO, WASHINGTON. WHEREAS, The City has advertised and received bids for bringing on-line the new well in the Tri-Area, installing associated piping, chemical feed systems, and electrical systems to upgrade the drinking water supply system in the Tri-Area; and Bids were received in a fair and timely fashion, in accordance with City and State bidding laws; and WHEREAS, This project is funded in the 1997 budget under Water System - Supply, Transmission and Storage; and WHEREAS, The City has found Lydel Construction, Inc. to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as follows: 1. The bid submitted by Lydel Construction, Inc. of Poulsbo, Washington is hereby accepted and declared to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Lydel Construction, Inc. 3. Payment to Lydel Construction, Inc. will be as set forth in the specifications of the contract.
