A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT THE REVISED DRAFT OF THE WATER
SYSTEM PLAN TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.
WHEREAS,
the City is required to prepare a water system plan under the Modified Agreed
Order 96-007 and is required to submit its revised plan within 120 days of
receiving comments from the Department of Health (DOH), and
WHEREAS, the City received comments from DOH on October 24, 1996 and must submit its
revised Plan on February 24, 1997, and
WHEREAS,
City staff met with the Utility Committee and Water Advisory Committee on
February 10, 1997 to review the Draft Plan and to receive comments on the Plan,
and
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It ResolVed that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to submit
the revised draft of the Water System Plan to DOH, incorporating the comments from the Utility
Committee and Water Advisory Committee.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 18th
day of February, 1997.
