A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH POLARIS ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING, INC TO
PROVIDE WETLAND DETERMINATION, DELINEATION AND RECONNAISSANCE
FOR CITY DRAINAGE BASINS 5,7,8 AND 11.

WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
the City and the Consultam are desirous of entering imo an Agreemem to
formalize their relationship, and
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultam as an independent
entity to perform wetland delineation and reconnaissance work for City
Drainage Basins 5, 7, 8 and 11; and
the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign
a Professional Services Agreement with Polaris Engineering and Surveying Inc. to provide
wetland determination, delineation and reconnaissance for City Drainage Basins 5, 7, 8 and 11.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
17th day of March, 1997.
