A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH POLARIS ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING TO CONDUCT A
SURVEY OF THE OLYMPIC GRAVITY WATER SYSTEM (OGWS) WATER
PIPELINES LOCATED WITHIN THE PLAT OF NATIONAL CITY ADDITION NO. 1.
WHEREAS,
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an
independent entity to conduct a survey of the Olympic Gravity Water
System Pipeline (OGWS) located within the Plat of National City
Addition No. 1; and
WHEREAS,
the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such
services itself; and
WHEREAS,
the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds
that the Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Professional Services Agreement with Polaris Engineering and Surveying to conduct a survey of
the Olympic Gravity Water System pipelines located within the Plat of National City Addition
No. 1.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 5th
day of May, 1997.
