A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING A SIX-MONTH EXTENSION FOR COMPLETION OF CONDITIONS ON
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 9603-07 (KEVIN & RUTH BOWEN)
WHEREAS,
applicants have requested a six-month extension of time to complete the
conditions of Phase II of their conditional use permit #9603-07 (expansion of an
existing bed and breakfast); and
WHEREAS,
the conditions of the permit provide that an extension not to exceed one year may
be granted by the Director of Building and Community Development with City
Council concurrence if no complaints have been received against Phase I of the
project; and
WHEREAS, required street improvements which must be completed have been scheduled, but
delayed due to circumstances beyond applicant's control; and
WHEREAS, no complaints have been received on Phase I and the applicant has made
substantial progress toward completion of the required infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Building and Community Development recommends granting the
requested extension;
NOW THEREFORE
Be it resolved that City Council of the City of Port Townsend does hereby authorize a six-month
extension of time for completion of Phase II conditions of Conditional Use Permit #9603-07.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 5th day
of May, 1997.
