SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT (SDP)
APPLICATION biO. LUP97-00010
WHEREAS, Paul Buesnel has petitioned the City in accordance with Title 17 of the Port
Townsend Municipal code and the Port Townsend Shoreline Master Program requesting a
Shorelines Substantial Development permit for the.purpose of constructing a deck at the seaward
side of an existing commercial building within 200 feet of the shoreline on Lots 1,2,3 and 4, Block
10 of the Port Townsend Original Townsite; and
WHEREAS, the proposal was duly noticed pursuant, to Chapter 20.01 of the Port Townsend
Municipal Code and one comment letter was received; and
WHEREAS, planning Cornmiasion conducted an open record public hearing for the purpose of
taking testimony, hearing evidence, considering the facts germane to the proposal, and evaluating
the proposal for consistency with adopted plans and regulations; and
WHEREAS, City Council has held a closed record public hearing for the purpose of considering
the Planning Commiasion's recommendation and evidence in the record including any written
comments and/or public testimony received,
NOW THEREFORE, City Council hereby accepts and adopts the findings of fact, conclusions
and project conditions as recommended by the Planning Commi.~sion dated May 8, 1997.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend in regular session assembled this
second day of June, 1997.
