RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A POOL FACILITY LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE PORT TOWNSEND SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CITY USE OF ITS
POOL FOR THE CITY RECREATION PROGRAM FOR 1997-1998
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend is interested in continuing a recreation pool
program from September 1, 1997 to August 31, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Port Townsend School District No. 50 owns the pool facility located at
the Mountain View Elementary School located at Walker & Blaine streets; and
WltEREAS, both the City and the School District desire to coordinate and cooperate in
providing a pool program for the community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign an agreement in substantially the same form as attached
to continue a pool program for the community through August 31, 1998.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor
on this 18th day of August, 1997.
