A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
DECLARING ANACORTES SEPTIC & EXCAVATION INC. TO BE THE LOWEST,
RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR THE MONROE STREET LIFT STATION
MODIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT AWARDING
THE BID TO ANACORTES SEPTIC & EXCAVATION INC. OF ANACORTES,
WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS,
City forces have neither the equipment or personnel to
perform these modifications in a safe and cost effective
manner; and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
These modifications will result in lower maintenance
costs to the city; and
Bids were solicited from the State of Washington's
Small Works Roster; and
WHEREAS,
The City has found Anacortes Septic & Excavation Inc.
to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
accepts the bid submitted by Anacortes Septic & Excavation Inc. as the
lowest, responsive, responsible bidder and authorizes the Mayor to
enter into a contract with Anacortes Septic & Excavation in the amount
of $24,765.84 for the construction of the Monroe Street Lift Station
Modifications.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by
the Mayor this 2nd day of September, 1997.
