A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT #97-003 WITH SVR DESIGN COMPANY
TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR 1996-97
STORM-RELATED DAMAGE REPAIR TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING
FOR THE SIMS BIOSWALE.
WHEREAS, the City and SVR Design Company entered into a Professional Services
Agreement on March 03, 1997; and
WHEREAS, this Agreement was to provide engineering and project management for various
storm damage claims submitted to FEMA for reimbursement; and
WHEREAS, the Sims BioSwale requires additional engineering to insure accommodation of
the stormwater flow; and
WHEREAS, SVR has completed satisfactory work on this, and all their contracts:
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign
an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with SVR Design Company, for an
additional $4,362.00 for engineering and project management for the repairs to the Sims
Bioswale.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 6th
day of October, 1997.
