A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROJECT
AGREEMENT WITH THE INTERAGENCY COMMITTEE FOR OUTDOOR
RECREATION (IAC) TO DECREASE OUR AGREEMENT TO $81,166.50 FOR THE
TRANSIENT MOORAGE AT THE UNION WHARF.

the IAC awarded the City a grant to construct a floating dock at the Union Wharf;
and
the original amount of the grant was $99,100; and
the original project agreement does not allow commercial use of any portion of the
floating dock funded by IAC funds; and
the Community expressed a desire to allow commercial use of a portion of the
floating dock; and
this amendment allows for a portion of the floating dock to be funded by other
sources, thereby allowing commercial use of the non-lAC funded portion,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign
an amendment to the Project Agreement with the IAC to reduce the IAC grant to $81,166.50
that thereby allows for commercial usage of a designated portion of the floating dock.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 3rd
day of November, 1997.
