RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH ATTORNEY KEITH HARPER TO PROVIDE 1998
CITY MISDEMEANOR PROSECUTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, since January 1, 1995, the City has contracted with Attorney Keith
Harper to prosecute the City's misdemeanor violations in District Court; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Keith Harper is experienced in misdemeanor prosecution
matters and competently renders this service for compensation in an amount which is
reasonable and fair,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the attached Agreement for Prosecuting
Attorney Services for 1998 with Keith Harper in substantially the same form as attached.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor
on this 1st day of December, 1997.
