A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PERTEET ENGINEERING, INC.
TO ADD INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE SAN JUAN AVENUE PROJECT.

WHEREAS,
inspection and oversight of large project such as the San Juan Avenue Project are
required as a condition of the grant which funds the project; and
the City does not have the capability to provide these full services on a project of
this size; and
Perteet Engineering has provided engineering and project management services
for the San Juan Avenue Project; and
additional inspection services were required on this project; and
Perteet Engineering has proven competent and efficient in the performance of
these duties,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign
an amendment, to the Professional Services Agreement with Perteet Engineering, Inc. to
increase the contract by $6,184. to provide additional Inspection Services for the San Juan
Avenue Improvement Project.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
15th day of December, 1997.
