RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH LITTLE & LITTLE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR COMPLETION OF TENANT
IMPROVEMENTS AND TO ASSIST IN THE RELOCATION OF CITY OFFICES
IN THE WATERMAN-KATZ BUILDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,000
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, resolves as follows:
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an
independent entity to accomplish the City's objectives and goals to provide skilled, cost-
effective and efficient project management for installation of tenant improvements in the
Waterman-Katz building and to assist in moving City offices in the building; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such
services itself; and
WHEREAS, the City has previous construction and project management experience
with the Consultant in other projects, knows the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that
Little & Little Construction is well qualified to perform the services required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the Mayor is authorized to execute a Contract with Little & Little Construction
by the Agreement and Attachments 1-3, including Scope of Services, Payment Schedule, and
Insurance Requirements, in substantially the form as attached to this resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor
on this 20 day of January, 1998.
