A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HAMII~TON HEIGHTS FINAL PLAT PHASE I ~
WHEREAS, the Developer, Hamilton Heights L.L.C., owns certain real property situated in the
City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County, Washington, legally described as Lots 1-15 and Lots
80, 81, and 82 of Phase IA Hamilton Heights Plat of the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson
County, Washington of the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County, Washington, along with
that real property formerly described as Blocks 1-15 inclusive of the Hamilton's Addition; and
WHEREAS, Hamilton Heights Planned Unit Development and Preliminary Plat (Application No.
LUP9409-05) were approved by City Council on December 18, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Ken Forssen, acting as an agent of the Hamilton Heights L.L.C, has applied for final
plat approval of Phase I in accordance with Chapter 18.16 of the Port Townsend Municipal Code;
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has found the plat in compliance with required
infrastructure improvements with the exception of installation of one street light for which a
bond has been provided; and,
WHEREAS, the Building and Community Development Director has determined that the proposal
is in substantial conformance with the preliminary plat, is consistent with Chapters 18.16 and
18.24 of the FFMC, and complies with applicable environmental mitigation measures, conditions
of the Preliminary Plat, and Property Use and Development Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposal and concurs with the Building and
Community Development Director's determination;
NOW THEREFORE, City Council hereby APPROVES Hamilton Heights Final Plat Phase lin
regular session assembled this 17th day of February, 1998.
