Staff Present: John McDonagh, Senior Planner Applicants: Michael Todd, Parks and Facilities Manager Guests/Members of the Public: Melody Sky Weaver, City Library Director; Kris Nelson, PT Main Street Topic Public Comment with Motions, Recommendations and/or Action Call to Order Chair Britton called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. Members present and absent noted above. Approval of Minutes: Feb. 6, 2024 Draft Regular Meeting Minutes Correct spelling of Walter's name; approved as corrected 6-0 Feb. 27, 2024 Draft Special Meeting Minutes 4-0-1 Correspondence/Attachments: None Appearance of Fairness: Berg acknowledged he was consulted on kitchen shelter project (HPC23-021) but received no compensation for it and felt he could review the project impartially. Seeing no objections, Berg was not asked to recuse himself. Page 1 of 3 Topic Public Comment with Motions, Recommendations and/or Action New Business: None Old Business A. HPC23-021, 1000 Jackson Street - City of Pt. Townsend Parks Dept. HPC member for HUD loan program rehab work on the Charles Pink House. Work is being done in a "like for like" fashion which makes this effortt exempt from Historic Design Review. For Item B, Kris Nelson on behalf of Main Street announced their request for an HPC member appointment to serve on their HUD facade improvement loan program committee. This same Main Street committee will also review applications for the LENT Low Interest Loan Program, which is intended to help businesses experiencing Page 2 of 3 Topic Public Comment with Motions, Recommendations and/or Action emergency cash flow problems.
