A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE
DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY TO ACCEPT FUNDS FOR THE LARRY SCOTT
MEMORIAL PARK TRAIL CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
the City has agreed to participate in this project in cooperation with Jefferson
County and the Port of Port Townsend; and
the City is the owner of record of a portion of the property; and
the City has agreed to accept the funds on behalf of all three emities; and
this grant will be received by the City on a pass-through basis; and
Jefferson County will accept these funds from the City and manage this project,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
grant agreement with the Department of Ecology to accept grant funds for the Larry Scott
Memorial Park Trail on behalf of Jefferson County.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
17th day of February, 1998.
