A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CH2M HILL TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING
SERVICES DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CT PIPELINE, CT
COMPLIANCE STATION AND TWO PRESSURE REGULATING STATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City entered into a Professional Services Contract with CH2M Hill dated June 3,
1993 for the design of the CT Pipeline and the Standpipe; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to this contract dated March 7, 1994 for services during
construction of the Standpipe was approved by Council; and
In addition to the contracted services the City finds it necessary to add additional
related tasks to this agreement for services during the construction of the CT Pipeline,
CT Compliance Station and two Pressure Regulating Stations; and
WHEREAS, the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required:
N O W E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign
an amendment, in substantially the same form as attached, to the Professional Services
Agreement with CH2M Hill for services during construction of the CT Pipeline, CT Compliance -
Station and two Pressure Regulating Stations
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 17th
day of February, 1998.
