A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH POLARIS ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING, INC. TO
PREPARE FCAAP FUNDED IMPLEMENTATION PLAN AREA STANDARDS FOR
VARIOUS DRAINAGE BASINS IN THE CITY.
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering into an Agreemem to
formalize their relationship, and
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an independem
emity to accomplish the City's objectives and goals for the developmem and
revision of Implementation Plan Area Standards for various drainage basins
within the city; and
the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Professional Services Agreement, in substantially the same form as attached, with Polaris
Engineering and Surveying, Inc. to prepare Implementation Plan Area Standards for various
drainage basins in the city.
