A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH POLARIS SURVEYING AND ENGINEERING TO DELINEATE
THE GOLF COURSE WETLAND AND TO DESIGN AND SUPERVISE
CONSTRUCTION OF UP TO FOUR DRIVE-POINT MONITORING WELLS IN THE
VICINITY OF THE GOLF COURSE POND.

WHEREAS,
the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering imo an Agreemem to
formalize their relationship, and
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultam as an independent
entity to delineate the Golf Course Wetland and design and supervise the
construction of up to four drive-poim monitoring wells in the vicinity of the
Golf Course Pond; and
the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Professional Services Agreement with Polaris Surveying and Engineering to delineate the Golf
Course Wetland and design and supervise the construction of up to four drive-point monitoring
wells in the vicinity of the Golf Course Pond.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
day of 6th day of April, 1998.
