RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH HANSON
ELECTRIC, INC., FOR THE LIBRARY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM UPGRADE IN THE
AMOUNT OF $18,173.00 (PLUS TAX AS APPLICABLE)
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, resolves as follows:
WI:IERF_,AS, the city desires to execute a contract for electrical system upgrade and repair
of the electrical system of the Port Townsend Library; and
WHEREAS, Hanson Electric is a qualified contractor under the Small Works Roster,
pursuant to City of Port Townsend Resolution 95-93, Section II, subpart A "Contracts Under
$20,000 or $30,000;" and
WHEREAS, the contract price is under $20,000; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the Mayor is authorized to execute the Contract in substantially the same form as
attached to this resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor
on this 5th day of May, 1998.
