A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH VAN WATERS &
ROGERS, INC. TO PROVIDE SODIUM HYDROXIDE 50% (CAUSTIC SODEA) FOR
THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND.
WHEREAS,
the City is desirous of contracting with said supplier for the purchase of Sodium
Hydroxide 50% (Caustic Soda) for the period from June 01, 1998 to June 01,
1999; and
the Supplier has submitted the lowest bid for the sale of said Sodium
Hydroxide 50 % and will be the supplier if said material is needed by the City.
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign
an Agreement with Van Water & Rogers, Inc. to provide Sodium Hydroxide 50% (Caustic
Soda) to the Water Quality Department.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
18th day of May, 1998.
