A RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPLICATION NO. LUP97-00003
WHEREAS, James Duncan has petitioned the City in accordance with Title 18 of the Port
Townsend Municipal Code requesting a replat of approximately three acres of the H.L. Tibbals Jr.
First Addition, creating 15 lots where 22 platted lots currently exist; and
WHEREAS, a final SEPA Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance was issued on
May 5, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the proposal was duly noticed pursuant to Chapter 20.01 of the Port Townsend
Municipal Code and one comment letter was received; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission conducted an open record public hearing for the purpose of
taking testimony, hearing evidence, considering the facts germane to the proposal, and evaluating
the proposal for consistency with adopted plans and regulations; and
WHEREAS, City Council has held a closed record public hearing for the purpose of considering
the Planning Commission's recommendation and evidence in the record including any written
comments and/or public testimony received;
NOW THEREFORE, City Council hereby accepts and adopts the findings of fact, conclusions
and project conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission dated May 14, 1998.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend in regular session assembled this
first day of June, 1998.
