A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
DECLARING PRIMO CONSTRUCTION TO BE THE LOWEST, RESPONSIVE,
RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR THE SHERIDAN STREET SIDEWALK
CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
AWARDING THE BID TO PRIMO CONSTRUCTION.

WHEREAS,
the City and School District would like to improve safety for children walking
to Grant Street School; and
The City has advertised and received bids for repair of these streets; and
Bids were received in a fair and timely fashion, in accordance with the City and
State bidding laws; and
The City has found Primo Construction to be the lowest, responsive, responsible
bidder.
N O W T H E R E F O R E
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend accepts the bid
submitted by Primo Construction for Sixty-Six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Seven Dollars
and Five Cents ($66,257.05) plus applicable sales tax as certified bY the State of Washington
Department of Revenue as the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder and authorizes the Mayor
to enter into a contract with Primo Construction for the construction of sidewalks on Sheridan
Street.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 20th
day of July, 1998.
