A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH
BERNT ERICSEN EXCAVATING, INC. FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE 25TH
STREET SEWER MAIN LINE.
WHEREAS, the City realizes the importance of improvements to the wastewater collection
system; and
WHEREAS, Council has budgeted for improvement projects through the Capital Improvement
Projects portion of the 1998 budget; and
WHEREAS, extension of the sewer main line along 25th street will increase the capacity in the
tnmk line south of this project; and
WHEREAS, Bemt Ericsen was chosen as the contractor for this project,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
construction contract, in the amount of $18,369.98 plus applicable sales tax, with Bernt Ericsen
Excavating, Inc. to extend the sewer main line along 25th Street.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 8th
day of September, 1998.
