Call to Order Chair Nhatt Nichols called meeting to order 3:00pm
Approval of Agenda
Commissioner Alexis Arrabito motioned to pass Agenda
once date correction was made, Sheila Long second (Motion passed) Approval of Minutes for October 6, 2022, Meeting Add total of request for funds of $100,000 to minutes, change subcommittee to PAC. Shelia Long motioned once changes are complete and Dan Groussman seconded Public Comment No public comments
City Work-planning Process Discussion City attorney gave open public meeting act, OPMA Presentation
Chair’s Update
Chair Nhatt Nichols gave the Work plan and Budget to
committee. Waiting on increase for new program
Public Arts committee recommendations Reiterate PAC’s role to the City Manager and to City Council
Get in touch with Sara Mall Johani about the possibility of
repairing her F street works, or if they cannot be repaired,
remove them. Remove the art markers from their current
locations.
It was agreed upon that the PAC would have Dan Groussman draft
a letter for the PAC to the City Council about City Marker’s
process and how future processes will be determined for the city’s
Public Art concerning the PTAC. Dan Groussman motioned and
Nhatt Nichols seconded. Motion passed.
Review Grant Application, Funding Guideline and FAQs Key City Players, Inc. dba Key City Public Theatre Grant given in the amount of 3,666.66 Shelia Long motioned and Sally Kiely seconded. Motion passed
Poet Laureate Program Chair Nhatt Nichols spoke with Culture and Society
Topic Motions/Recommendation/Action
committee about the start of the program and to determine
funding.
