RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN]AGREEMENT FOR
TEMPORARY PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH LMN ARCHITECTS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $9,990 FOR A STUDY OF C-II ZONING DISTRICTS
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, resolves as follows: /
WI-IEREAS, the City desires to execute an agreement f~r property development and
construction design guidelines for Port Townsend's C-II zoning districts;
WHEREAS, such services require specialized expertise and training; and
WIrIEr, the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
WHEREAS, LMN Architects has city planning and urba~ design project experience in
developing design guidelines for commercial districts, and has pursOed specialized training in the
areas of architecture and urban/regional land use planning; and /

WHEREAS, the City finds that LMN Architects is qualified to perform the services
required; and
WHEREAS, the Consultant is willing and able to provide and perform said services; and
WHEREAS, said services are temporary in duration,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement with LMN Architects in
substantially the form as attached to this resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor
on this 7th day of December, 1998.
