A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH'ANNE SEARS & ASSOCIATES TO ASSIST THE CITY IN
RESOLVING CONTRACT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES REGARDING SOLID
WASTE.
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering into an Agreement to
formalize their relationship, and
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an independent
entity to accomplish the City's objectives and goals to resolve contract and
customer service issues regarding Solid Waste; and
the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise To conduct such services
itself; and
the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Professional Services Agreement with Anne Sears & Associates to assist the City to resolve
contract and customer service issues regarding Solid Waste.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 7th
day of December, 1998.
