RESOLUTION NO. 22-043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ALL CONTRACTS
NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE LASERFICHE UPGRADE IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $50,000
WHEREAS, the City reserved $50,000 of American Rescue Act Plan funds for public
records scanning; and
WHEREAS, the first step towards scanning the records is to upgrade Laserfiche, the City's
digital archive; and
WHEREAS, the Laserfiche upgrade will ensure the City has the necessary infrastructure to
store, search, and retrieve digital records; and
WHEREAS, the goal of this project is to reduce the need for physical records and storage
space, publish many record to the web, and reduce the public records request response time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, that the City Manager is authorized to execute all contracts necessary to
complete the Laserfiche upgrade in an amount not to exceed $50,000.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a special business
meeting thereof, held this 14th day of November 2022. µ µxX µXX
