RESOLUTION NO. 22-039
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR AN ANALYSIS OF
THE CITY'S SEPTAGE RECEIVING FACILITY AND TO AMEND THE CITY'S
AGREEMENT WITH RH2 ENGINEERING, INC. FOR THE GENERAL SEWER PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend has an agreement with RH2 Engineering, Inc for
an update to the City's General Sewer Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City and Jefferson County would like to include an analysis of the
septage receiving facility's capacity as part of the General Sewer Plan update; and
WHEREAS, an interlocal agreement with Jefferson County will allow for the County's
participation in the analysis and for County cost-sharing; and
WHEREAS, the City's agreement with RH2 Engineering, Inc will need an amendment
to include the analysis in that scope of work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend the City Manager is authorized to an interlocal agreement with Jefferson County for
an analysis of the City's septage receiving facility and to amend the City's agreement with RH2
Engineering, Inc. for the general sewer plan.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting thereof,
held this 19`" day of September 2022.~" �
