RESOLUTION NO. 22-036
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO RELINQUISH THE EASEMENT RESERVED BY
ORDINANCE 1422
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance 1422 on June 5, 1962; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 1422 vacated 4th Avenue between Rosecrans Street and Logan
Street reserving an utility easement in the vacated right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City has no need to place utilities in the vacated right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property desire to clear any clouds on title;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to execute all necessary document to relinquish
the easement reserved by ordinance 1422.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 1st day of August 2022.
