HomeMy WebLinkAbout03042022CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL BUSINESS MEETING OF MARCH 4, 2022 CALL TO ORDER The Port Townsend City Council scheduled a special session on the 4th day of March 2022 beginning at MountainView Commons at 1925 Blaine Street at 1 p.m., Public Works Director Steve King opened the meeting. ROLL CALL Councilmembers Aislinn Diamanti, Amy Howard, Monica MickHager, Ben Thomas, Owen Rowe, and Libby Wennstrom. Staff members present: Public Works Director Steve King, City Manager John Mauro, Operations Manager Brian Reid, Facilities Manager Michael Todd, and Lead Facilities Operator Brenda Burke. No public in attendance. DISCUSSION ITEMS Public Works Director Steve King and other facilities staff led a tour and review of the following City facilities: MountainView Facilities Tour (60 Mins.) at 1925 Blaine: Tenant Space Tour, Gym, Pool, Roof, Pool leak, mechanical tour, including pool mechanical room. Library (Canceled). Cotton and Pope Marine Buildings (20 Mins.) at 100 Madison: Cotton Building restrooms, Pope warming shelter, and Pope Marine siding. City Hall (40 Mins.) Historic City Hall/Museum 540 Water Street/250 Madison: Boiler Room at City Hall, 3rd Floor Carpeting, Heating and Cooling Mitigation Project, Chambers Audio Visual, and Third Floor, Second Floor, and First Floor.
