There are a number of events and parades. The Port Townsend Police department will be closing roads for the parade routes and ensuring the safety of everyone attending. See below for detailed road closures. th WED-May 18 TRIKE RACE 5 pm-7 pm No parking 4 pm-8 pm on Water Street from Quincy to Monroe, and Monroe from Water to Washington. Road closed 4:30 pm to 8 pm Water Street from Quincy to Monroe. th PET PARADE 3:30 pm-5 pm THURS- May 19 No parking 2:30 pm-5:30 pm on Lawrence Street from Pierce to Adams Road closed 3:30 pm-4:30 pm for staging on Lawrence from Pierce to Harrison. The entire route will be closed from 4:30-5 pm th FRI-May 20 Kiddie PARADE 2 pm-4:30 pm No parking 1 pm-5 pm on Lawrence Street from Tyler to Monroe, on Monroe from Lincoln to Clay, on Jackson from Monroe to Chetzemoka Park Entrance Road closed 2 pm-3:30 pm on Lawrence from Tyler to Adams for staging. The entire route to Chetzemoka Park will be closed until 5 pm. th Hair and Beard Contest 5 pm-6 pm FRI-May 20 Bed Races 6:30 pm-8 pm No parking 3:30 pm-8 pm on Water Street from Monroe to Quincy, and Monroe Street from Water to Washington. Road closed 4:30 pm (approx..)-8pm Water Street from Quincy to Monroe st Running of the Balls 12:30 pm-1 pm SAT-May 21 No parking after 6 am on Monroe from Lawrence to Water Road closed, Monroe Street will be closed at noon st Grand Parade 1 pm-4 pm SAT-May 21 No parking after 6 am on multiple streets (map) Road closed Lawrence Street between Harrison and Walker will be closed 8 am for staging PRESS RELEASE –Rhodendron Festival Road Closures 05/11/22 Road closed afternoon: Lawrence, Monroe, and Water (to Taylor) nd Rhody Run 9 am-done SUN May 22 th No Parking after 7 am on 49Street between Hendricks Street and Admiralty Street and on Admiralty to Gates of Fort Worden State Park.
