A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE ACTING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LITTLE & LITTLE CONSTRUCTION IN PROJECT
MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR REPAIR OF THE PORT TOWNSEND POLICE
STATION FACILITY NOT TO EXCEED $9000.
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, resolves as follows:
WHEREAS,
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an independent entity
to accomplish the City's objectives and goals to provide skilled, cost-effective and
efficient project management for the repair and renovation of improvements for
the Police Station facility; and
WHEREAS, there are several trades to coordinate for this for this work so that managing the
projects requires specialized skill and expertise; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
WHEREAS,
the City has previous construction and project management experience with the
Consultant in other projects, knows the qualifications of the consultant and finds
that Little & Little construction is well qualified to perform the services required;
and
WHEREAS, the Consultant has been chosen from the City's Professional Services Roster in
accordance with chapter 39.80 RCW,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Acting City
Manager to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Little & Little Construction, Inc.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
