RESOLUTION NO. 22-015
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING THE $6,000 DONATION FROM THE PORT
TOWNSEND LIBRARY FOUNDATION FOR NEW PINK HOUSE CARPET AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DONATION AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Port Townsend Municipal Code 3.42.050 requires the City Council
approve any donations to the City in excess of $5,000; and
WHEREAS, the Port Townsend Library Foundation has agreed to fund the purchase and
installation of new carpet in the Pink House; and
WHEREAS, the new carpet will cost approximately $6,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend:
The City gratefully accepts the donation from the Port Townsend Library Foundation up
to the amount of $6,000 for the purchase and installation of new carpet in the Pink House
and directs the City Manager to execute a donation agreement.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a special meeting
thereof, held this 14th day of March 2022.
