HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-03-09 Press Release In-Person Meetings Revised For Immediate Release Contact: Joanna Sanders, City Clerk 360-379-5083 As part of the City of Port Townsend reopening plan, the City is inviting the public to participate in City Council business and workshop meetings in the City Council Chambers. The City will open the City Council Chambers to Council members and the public on March 14, 2022. Persons wishing to participate in Port Townsend City Council business and workshop meetings have the following four options: 1. In-Person: For City Council Business meetings held on the first, second and third Mondays, Business meetings would be in person. Provide comment at that point in the agenda, submit written comment ahead of the meeting, or just listen to the conversation. 2. Computer, tablet or phone: enter the meeting ID: via computer or tablet at http://joinwebinar.com enter the 9 digit Webinar ID 578-066-435. Members of the public are unmuted at the time for public comment and are limited to three minutes per person 3. Phone only (muted): United States: +1 (914) 614-3221 access code: 942-105-283# 4. Live streaming (listen only): at https://cityofpt.us/citycouncil/page/agendasminutesvideos. Agendas and documents are linked for attendees and the public. Once the meeting has been started, click on the link to the meeting when it says “In Progress/View Event.” Council Committee Meeting, Planning Commission, and Advisory Board meetings will still be conducted online until further notice. See published agendas on the City website for the virtual meeting link. For all meetings, the City continues to accept written public comments up to two hours before the start of each meeting. Send those emails to: publiccomment@cityofpt.us. Staff will continue to include the written comment into the public record.
