A RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPLICATION NO. LUP98-11
WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Crist has petitioned the City in accordance with Title 18 of the Port
Townsend Municipal Code requesting lots of record review to replat Lots 1 - 20 of Block 48, Lots
11-20 of Block 40 and Lots 1-2 and 19 - 29 of Block 49, all lying within the plat of Fowler's Park
Addition, creating 13 lots where 34 platted lots of record currently exist; and
WHEREAS, the proposal was duly noticed pursuant to Chapter 20.01 of the Port Townsend
Municipal Code and ten (10) comment letters were received; and
WHEREAS, a final SEPA Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance was issued on June 9,
1999; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted an open record public hearing for the purpose
of taking testimony, hearing evidence, considering the facts germane to the proposal, and
evaluating the proposal for consistency with adopted plans and regulations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a closed record public hearing for the purpose of
considering the Planning Commission's recommendation and evidence in the record including any
written comments and/or public testimony received;
NOW THEREFORE, City Council hereby accepts and adopts the findings of fact, conclusions
and project conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission dated July 8, 1999.
