RESOLUTION NO. 21-074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH FINANCIAL CONSULTING SOLUTIONS GROUP, INC. FOR
RETAIL WATER RATE UPDATES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000
WHEREAS, water supply agreement negotiations with the Port Townsend Paper
Corporation require the City of Port Townsend to update its retail water rate; and
WHEREAS, the new rates must include necessary Olympic Gravity Water System capital
funding; and
WHEREAS, Financial Consulting Solutions Group, Inc. has completed several rate models
and cost of services studies for the City; and
WHEREAS, the Water Distribution Fund can cover the costs of this study without going
over budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, the City Manager is authorized to execute with Financial Consulting
Solutions Group, Inc. for retail water rate updates in an amount not to exceed $25,000.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 22,d day of November 2021.
