HomeMy WebLinkAboutPress Release Notice of Administering the Oath 121721 Contact: Joanna Sanders, City Clerk 360-379-5083 _________________________________ Administering Oaths of Office to Newly Elected Councilmembers On Monday, December 20, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. the City Clerk will administer Oaths of Office to newly elected Councilmembers in the following order: Aislinn Diamanti (Position No. 2) Libby Urner Wennstrom (Position No. 5) Ben Thomas (Position No. 1) Although Council Chambers is closed to the public for the Council meeting with all Councilmembers and staff participating virtually, the press and guests of newly elected Councilmembers are welcome to join for this portion of the meeting and take photos while the oath is administered. The election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor will occur at the first meeting of the year on January 3, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. The City continues to hold all-virtual meetings. Anyone interested in participating in a public meeting and/or providing comment has the following options: 1. Members of the public are unmuted at the time for public comment and are limited to three minutes per person 2. Council Committee, Planning Commission and Advisory Board meetings also continue to be conducted online. See published agendas on the City website for the virtual meeting link.
