A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE MANAGER'S
EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE LANGUAGE
CONSISTENT WITH THE COUNCIL'S AND EMPLOYEE'S INTENT
WHEREAS, the parties to this agreement negotiated in good faith certain benefits
regarding the Employee's cost of relocation to Port Townsend, Washington from
Underhill Vermont; and
WHEREAS, the parties agreed in principle to the City covering all reasonable costs
eligible under an IRS accountable plan; and
WHEREAS, the contract set a limit without benefit of adequate information as to the
estimate oftbe reasonable costs to relocate Employee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to execute the contract amendment to provide
language consistent with the Council's and Employee's intent.
