HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-10-25 LUP21-044 Levitas Short Plat.NOH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LUP21-044 (Short Plat with Partial Street Vacation) and LUP21-045 (Minor Variance) On Monday, October 25, 2021, beginning at or about 9 a.m., the Port Townsend Hearing Examiner will hold a virtual open-record public hearing to consider the above referenced applications. A project description is provided below. A copy of the application and related documents are available for review on the City’s web site at: https://cityofpt.us/citycouncil/page/agendasminutesvideos. All interested persons can participate in the virtual hearing and provide oral or written testimony as provided in the Hearing Details below. Description: The Hazelwood Short Plat is a proposed Short Subdivision to re-plat 3 existing lots into 4 new lots. The re-platting effort includes both a partial Street Vacation of Sherman St. (10’ x 100’) and a Minor Variance to allow each new lot to be slightly less than 50 ft. in width. All 4 lots would gain vehicular access via Hastings Ave. Sewer service will be provided via an existing main located in the alley north of the lots. Townsend, WA 98368 Location/Legal Description: The subject property consists of three (3) previously platted lots located on the north side of Hastings Avenue and east of unopened Sherman Street. A single-family home is under construction on the easternmost lot (Proposed Parcel D). The remainder of the site is vacant. The site’s present legal rd description (abbreviated) is Lots 6, 7 & 8, Block 11, Hasting’s 3 Addition. A more complete legal description is on file with the application. The current Jefferson County tax parcel numbers for the site are 957-901-102 & 957-901-103 Hearing Details: As noted above, this public hearing will be held virtually by webinar.
